Wapinschaw 2003
The 123rd Aberdeen Wapinschaw took place on 3rd/4th May 2003 with the civilian event on the Sunday. A strong entry of 29 competitors from all over Scotland took part in 55 matches over the day. The rain held off all day but a fresh and bitterly cold Southerly wind made shooting, particularly in the muzzle loading event, rather challenging.
The competition consisted of a muzzle loading rifle match in 2 classes and a breech loading match of Deliberate, Rapid and Snap practices in 6 classes and all at 200yds.
