The 2010 Classic Long Range Meeting was held at Blair Atholl on Sunday 22 August 2010. The meeting is now a well established part of the Scottish classic shooting calendar having been held continuously for 8 years. We are very grateful for the great support we have received from the West Atholl Rifle Club over the years, and in particular their Chairman Keith Baxby and Range Superintendent Alistair Munro. Look out in the New Year (2011) for the new date and if you need more information get in touch. If you know anyone who might like to come please encourage them to do so. West Atholl Rifle Club have directions to their range here Long Range Meeting 2010. The attendance this year was a bit down from last year perhaps because we had a later date than in the past. If you have come to the meet in the past but did not come this year let me know if this was the reason. The day was showery (and midgie infested!) but the light was good and we enjoyed some good shooting. The wind in the afternoon at 900yards was variable and quartering from behind and left and made for some challenging shooting.
