There is a range of competitions that cater for Classic Rifles in Scotland. The ones that I know about are listed below. I would be glad to list any that I have not included.

the Black Dog Ranges near Aberdeen in May each year. Check out my Wapinschaw page

classics competitions. I will post any information about events as I get it.

The Princess Louise Trophy Open Meeting. The Bi-Centenary of Helensburgh was marked in 2002
in part with a Team competition between Army and civilian teams with the civilians
representing the town's close connections with its local volunteer militias.
The competition was held over the weekend of 13/14 July 2002. Several teams
took part on the Saturday but, unfortunately bad weather (visibility) prevented
any shooting on the Sunday. A description of the match conditions is given here .
Classic Long Range Day - Blair Atholl. Check my Long Range Day page from the home page.
Speyside Classic Rifle Competition. This regular competition does not take place any more.
The Scottish Historical Rifle Championships. Normally held at Castlelaw Ranges near Edinburgh in
September the Championships puts on a wide range of shooting for Classic Rifles.
The date and venue for the championships next year will be announced, hopefully,
