Bryan Weir, competing in Veteran Class for the first time, on his way to putting in a competition record score, only to be beaten to first place by his son Roland using the same rifle!

 

 

 

Roland Weir keeps up the family standards by winning the Open Class as well as Veteran 

In the team Match, based on the NRA Roberts Match, the Cawdor Rifle Club team engage the Snap targets 

 

 

The "3/4 Figure No. 2" target is engaged by the Cawdor Rifle Club Team during the Team Match.  The targets used at the Championships are based on British Army targets dating from 1904. 

 

Sean Brooke reloads his No. 4 Lee Enfield during a Rapid phase of the Championships.  The Veteran class consisted almost entirely of No. 4s with just one lonely single action M-1 Garand.
